Youngsters these days lead a poor lifestyle. Both institutions and guardians share equal responsibility for addressing this issue. I completely agree with the above narrative for several reasons outlined in my essay.
On one hand, schools and parents play a vital role in reinforcing a positive behaviour in children, as youths spend equal time at home and at school. Parents can closely observe their children at home and set daily routines properly. They can limit screen time and encourage outdoor sports. In addition to this, schools can provide a healthy environment to children by encouraging them to take part in physical activities such as sports, yoga, and morning exercises. These activities help children stay active and reduce the chances of developing unhealthy habits.
Furthermore, guardians can also decide what activities children should do after school. They can motivate them to join classes like sports clubs or evening games, which help build a balanced routine. Although schools play a role in shaping a child’s lifestyle, they cannot be held equally responsible because children learn in an external environment with many other students. One bad influence can easily affect everyone around them. Teachers cannot supervise students all the time, so some unacceptable behaviours may go unnoticed.
In conclusion, although both parents and schools play a key role in shaping children’s habits, parents bear more responsibility because they control daily routines and behaviour at home. Schools can guide and support, but their influence is limited. Therefore, parents must take the lead in helping children develop a healthier lifestyle.
