Nowadays, a significant proportion of individuals believe that access to clean water is a basic human right. Hence, each home ought to have a water supply that is free of cost. I am in complete agreement with the statement for a number of logical reasons, which will be discussed in detail.
First and foremost, clean water is a basic human need. Water plays an important role in our lives. Moreover, life would be ceased without it. For instance, we need clean water for drinking, cleaning as well as washing purposes. The water available for daily activities is not clean; then, it will result in many difficulties. In other words, dirty water leads to many contagious diseases like skin diseases and many others. According to the survey in Pakistan, 2000 individuals died in 2002 due to the dirty water that was available for drinking purpose.
Another important point to consider is that every house should have a water supply that has no charges. It is the right of citizens to get access to pure water. Additionally, people have to pay the water supply bills in many countries. Nevertheless, it should be free of any cost. Secondly, civilians should stop dumping in water because it makes the water dirty. Due to this, the government has to stop the companies that throw waste into the water, and then people have to pay for the access to water. In addition to this, some individuals have low budget and they are not able to pay the bills. For their convenience, the water supply has to be free.
To reiterate, I would like to say that water plays a crucial role in our lives, and the government should adopt policies to make it free of cost. Additionally, disposal of waste should be stopped in the water.
