Countries and their Dedicated Test for Immigration

CANADA

If you wish to migrate to Canada, the test that you can give is CELPIP. The CELPIP Tests are Canada’s leading general English tests for immigration. It can be used in filing your permanent residence in Canada. The CELPIP (Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program) is a specialized test and is easier than the IELTS test (Band 8 or 8,777). It is only a computer-delivered test.

AUSTRALIA

If your dream destination is Australia, the Pearson test of English would be your number one choice. The test is conducted by a well-known publisher called Pearson and is an AI-based test with the fastest results than any other EPT. The test originates from the UK. It can be used for a study visa (PTE Academic) and filling out the PR application (PTE Academic) if your destination is Australia. To fill out the Canadian PR, you will be given the PTE core. The format of both tests is more or less the same, with only two major question types that differ. The PTE general can be given by trainers who teach English and have no expiry.

THE STATES

If you are planning to pursue your studies in the United States of America, there are two tests that can help. The first one is DET (Duolingo English Test), and the second one is TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language). Both tests are computer-delivered and can be used to obtain a study visa in the United States.

UNITED KINGDOM

The UK is a popular choice among international students these days. It offers world-class universities to study and settle abroad. The tests that can be given are the IELTS UKVI and PTE UKVI if you are planning to file a study visa. Furthermore, the IELTS test is widely accepted here.

IRELAND

You can take tests like the IELTS academic/PTE academic or Duolingo English Test for a study visa. Most of the universities and colleges here are flexible enough and accept the above test. Low-budget colleges and institutions also offer you a seat sometimes with a score of 5.5 in any one module of the IELTS academic test.

NEWZEALAND

IELTS Academic is the top preference of the universities or colleges here if a non-native English speaker wants to pursue a degree or a course in this country. You need a minimum of band 6 in each module with an overall of 6.5. The tuition fee is high here, and so is the standard of living.
