I have been teaching IELTS and PTE for a long time now. I would love to share the valuable insights I have accumulated over these years.
First, these EPTs have a base, like the IELTS test, which is made of synonyms. Therefore, all the questions are made using these synonyms. Cambridge makes the exam tricky by merely using these keywords and synonyms.
Now let’s talk about a very popular test called PTE. This test has a base of collocations in the reading part and uses fifteen important words or keywords in the speaking section. Hence, the base is keywords and collocations.
Someone who aspires to pass both tests with flying colors will have to master these two things. The first being synonyms and the second being collocations.
