1. You will find three writing tasks in the DET: writing about or describing an image, interactive writing, and sample writing. Let’s talk about each one of them in detail.
2. Describe an image—write 2-3 lines in these questions. You can start with the following phrases, like
3. In this image, I can see…
4. The picture talks about…
5. There is an interesting picture in front of me…
6. If given two or more pictures during the test, do not use the same starting line everywhere. Change the starting line of each photograph so that AI can understand that you can use a variety of sentence framing.
7. The third or last line will give a prediction or an assumption. For instance, I believe that the picture below was taken in a microbiology laboratory.
8. Proofreading is a game changer. Do not write too much, as the quantity does not matter. Always have the last two minutes to proofread to eliminate grammar or punctuation errors. This improves scoring.
9. First talk about the main object in the image, which is the central theme, and then about secondary aspects like the background and any related items that you can notice.
10. Describe the background and colours, if there is any time left.
